The District School Board of Collier County approved the 2026 CCPS Florida Legislative Platform at the Regular School Board Meeting on October 8, 2025.
Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) and the Collier County Education Association (CCEA) met on September 24, 2025 for the ninth bargaining session for the 2025–26 school year.
STEAM Expo will be held on January 31, 2026. Submit your proposal today.

Mrs. Maria Ferro
I am honored to be principal of Village Oaks Elementary School. At VOE, our students, staff, and families work together to create a positive environment so every child can succeed. Our focus remains on high-quality instruction, strong relationships, and continuous growth. I believe in open communication and encourage you to reach out, share ideas, and stay connected throughout the year. There will be many opportunities for family and community involvement, and we look forward to welcoming you to the events and activities planned throughout the year. Together, we will celebrate progress and support one another every step of the way. Here’s to a year of possibility, partnership, and Panther Pride! It’s going to be a great year, Panthers!
